On December 21, a tripartite meeting was held in Turkey between the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Hulusi Akar, and the Minister of Defense of Georgia, Mr. Juansher Burchuladze.

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Defense to APA, at the meeting, the defense ministers of all three countries discussed the military and political situation in the region, the development of military cooperation in a trilateral format, the importance of conducting bilateral and trilateral joint exercises, as well as ensuring the security of regional projects.

At the end, a press conference was held for mass media representatives.

The next tripartite meeting of defense ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia is being held today in Kayseri.

The local bureau of APA reports that the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, the Minister of National Defense of Turkey Hulusi Akar and the Minister of Defense of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze are participating in the meeting.

At the meeting, a detailed exchange of views will be held on developing cooperation in a tripartite format, ensuring the security of regional projects and other issues of mutual interest.
