The aggressor

Russia

plans to transfer "modern military components" to Iran in exchange for hundreds of drones, which Moscow uses to attack Ukrainian settlements.

This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Great Britain, Ben Wallace, writes CNN.

Speaking in the British Parliament, the head of the Ministry of Defense called Tehran "one of the main military sponsors of Russia."

The minister also emphasized the importance of exposing this agreement.

"In exchange for supplying more than 300 kamikaze drones, Russia now intends to provide advanced military components to Iran, undermining both the Middle East and international security," Ben Wallace emphasized.

Iranian drones are in service with Russia

Russian troops have been using Iranian drones for strikes since September 2022.

But Tehran denies the supply.

The other day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that

Iran has handed over a new batch of drones to Russia

 - 250 Shahed-136.

In early December, the

United States imposed sanctions against Russia

for using Iranian drones.

The Russian Aerospace Forces were named the main beneficiary of the purchase of kamikaze drones.

Now

the UN has begun to investigate the transfer of Iranian drones to Russia

.

The UN leaders received letters from Ukraine, France, Germany, Great Britain and the USA regarding the importance of verifying information about the transfer of drones from Iran to the Russian Federation.

However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine notes that the

UN is in no hurry to send a mission

to Ukraine to study Russia's use of Iranian drones.
