America says that both India and Pakistan are indispensable for us.

Washington:

A top US official has said that his country has a multi-faceted relationship with India and Pakistan and wants a meaningful dialogue between them for the betterment of the people of the two countries and not a "war of words".

Significantly, relations between India and Pakistan have been tense over the Kashmir issue and the terrorist threat from Pakistan.

When asked about Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's recent remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York, US State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters at his daily news conference on Monday, "Our India has a global strategic partnership.

I have also talked about the deep ties we have with Pakistan.

These relations do not mean the advantage of one or the disadvantage of the other.

We do not see them linked to each other.

He said that both relations are essential to promote our shared goals with India and Pakistan.

Price said, “The fact is that we have a partnership with both countries and we do not want to see a war of words between India and Pakistan.

We want to see meaningful dialogue between India and Pakistan.

We feel it is necessary for the betterment of Pakistani and Indian people.

We can do a lot together bilaterally.

He said, “There are some differences between India and Pakistan which definitely need to be resolved.

America stands ready to help both as a partner.

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto's personal remarks against Prime Minister Modi and remarks about Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, India's External Affairs Minister S.

This was after Jaishankar made a scathing attack on Pakistan for supporting terrorism in the meeting of the United Nations Security Council.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson said, “We have strengthened our global strategic partnership with India, we also have such a relationship in which we can talk openly to each other.

We may have disagreements or concerns, we talk to them like we talk to our Pakistani friends.

In response to another question, Price said that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi told Russian President Vladimir Putin that 'this is not the era of war', countries around the world welcomed this statement.

He said, “It is important because India has relations with Russia which America does not have.

I would like to say that for decades, Russia has worked to make India a partner, which the US did not do at that time.

Obviously this has changed in recent decades.
