Dimitar Ljubenov, who killed a Frenchman on the capital's ring road while driving his powerful Porsche drunk with 1.73 percent alcohol in his blood and drugged with cocaine, remains permanently in custody.

The decision is of the Sofia Court of Appeal, the court announced.

The appellate court found that the reasonable assumption of complicity of the accused in committing the act for which he was brought to criminal responsibility, as well as the presence of prerequisites to commit a crime, was not shaken.
