The original square was Liyushan Market, and the county government assisted in the relocation. The groundbreaking ceremony was held this afternoon. It is expected to be completed in December 2013. In addition, it will also renovate the Taitung Station of the Public-Private Cooperative Child Care Center, handle the new construction of the Children and Family Welfare Center, and set up the Taitung County Youth Welfare Service Center to provide social welfare services for all ages.

The current location of the Elderly Social Welfare Building is "Taitung County Elderly Hall". It has been more than 38 years since 1973. The original building lacks barrier-free facilities and is old and damaged. Strive for a central government subsidy of about 100 million yuan, and the remaining funds will be invested by the county government with its own financial resources and public welfare lottery funds. The total project cost is more than 184.4 million yuan. After demolition and reconstruction, a building with one basement and four floors above the ground will be built to integrate into the ecology , energy saving, health, carbon reduction and other green building concepts, the establishment of continuous long-term care services for the disabled elderly, and the provision of complete elderly welfare resources will become new highlights in Liyushan in the future.
