[Reporter Li Lifa/Pingtung Report] Although the election of grassroots public officials has ended, the prosecutorial bribery work is still going on. Representatives and village and village head-elects filed lawsuits to invalidate their elections, which aroused concern in local political circles.

The Pingtung District Prosecutor's Office recently filed a lawsuit against the three elected candidates of Fangliao Township, surnamed Chen, village head Xu, and village head Lin surnamed Wanluan Township, who were suspected of bribery investigations. Today, the second wave of 16 people involved The bribed local chiefs and civilian elected persons filed suits to invalidate their elections, including 1 county councilor, 1 township head, 7 township representatives, 6 village heads, and 1 district chief.

The illegal election methods of the 16 candidates involved included buying tickets with cash and ghost population. Since most of the cases are still in the investigation stage, the screen inspection did not explain the details of the cases involved, but it is understood that there will be a third wave of invalid lawsuits.
