Mongolia's Independent Anti-Corruption Service has summoned three former Prime Ministers to testify in connection with the coal theft case.

APA reports that "Ikon" internet portal of Mongolia wrote about this.

According to the report, former Prime Ministers Batbold Suhbaatar (2007-2009), Erdenebat Jargaltulga (2009-2012) and Bayar Sanc (2016-2017), who headed the Cabinet of Ministers of Mongolia, were summoned to testify.

It was noted that 50 people suspected of coal theft have been investigated.

It should be noted that in connection with the theft of $12.9 billion worth of coal intended for export to China, mass protests have been going on for two weeks in front of the government palace in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
