Today I again sent letters to all parliamentary groups, asking them to send proposals that they consider important to be included in the program of the National Assembly for the next calendar year.

The deadline for receiving these proposals is Thursday at 19.00 so that we can summarize them on Friday morning and on Friday afternoon from 14.00 we have again invited all parliamentary formations to discuss this list.

This was stated by the Prime Minister candidate of "We continue the change" Academician Nikolay Denkov

Nikolay Denkov is acting Minister of Education and Science in the office of Ognyan Gerdzhikov.

"The idea is to see together where there could be a common cross-section of priorities that should be related to specific tasks and bills that we want to be voted on and passed."

After clearing this list, we will use the holidays between Christmas and New Year to put these priorities and tasks into a schedule that is both intense and realistic,” he explained.

On January 3, "Continuing the Change" invites again to a meeting all the parliamentary groups that participated in the discussions.

"Let's clean up the final text of these national priority tasks, let's shape it as a document that we call a program statement with the expectation that on January 5, this program statement will be included for a vote in the plenary hall.

Depending on the results of this vote, the next steps will follow.

If it does not receive support, we will return the mandate unfulfilled," the prime minister candidate pointed out.

According to him, for the moment there have been no talks with anyone about the draft composition of the cabinet.

"The first question is whether we can make a list of priorities and tasks that have parliamentary support," he said.

Denkov also added that proposing a government to the minority is risky and emphasized that they are aware of this.

"There will always be a majority that can interfere with the work of such a cabinet.

The second risk is that the National Assembly will start passing laws that we consider bad for Bulgaria, people and business.

If it turns out that we have given time to this National Assembly to pass laws that we consider incorrect, that is a risk we should not afford.

The first risk would be damage to the political party, the second - to Bulgaria," he pointed out.
