The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria

Zakharova

, again exploded with threats because of military aid to Ukraine.

This time, threats were made to Greece due to the possible shipment of S-300 air defense systems to Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the aggressor country.

Thus, according to her, Russia considers the plans to supply Ukraine with the S-300 and other Russian/Soviet-style air defense equipment "provocative" and "hostile".

Zakharova also accused Greece of "a criminal war against the peaceful civilian population of Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson Region, including the numerous ethnic Greeks who live there," if the country agrees to provide Ukraine with weapons.

She also mentioned the existence of "Russian-Greek intergovernmental agreements on military-technical cooperation dated October 30, 1995 and on the supply of military products dated December 3, 2013", which prohibit Greece from re-exporting military equipment supplied by the Russian Federation to a third party without Russia's consent.

We will remind you that the Minister of Defense of Greece, Nikolaos Panayiotopoulos, declared his

readiness to send S-300 air defense systems to Ukraine

, and only on the condition that the USA installs Patriot air defense systems in Crete instead.

He also noted that in case of obtaining American counterparts, his country

can also send Tor-M1 and Osa-AKM air defense systems to Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that Russia reacted to the plans of the USA to hand over

the Patriot anti-missile systems to Ukraine in the near future and threatened "unforeseen consequences".
