A couple and their two daughters riding a motorcycle were killed when a speeding truck coming from behind hit them on the Pilibhit-Bisalpur road in Barkheda area of ​​Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh.

Additional Superintendent of Police Pavitra Mohan Tripathi said on Monday that Pritam Ram (28), a resident of Pareva Anoop village of Barkheda police station area, along with his wife Ishwari Devi (25) and daughters Nandini (5) and Ruby (2) were lodged at Jehanabad police station on Sunday. Was going to his home on a motorcycle from Suswar village of the area.

On the way, a truck coming from behind on the Bisalpur-Pilibhit road hit his motorcycle hard.

Due to the collision, all the people riding the motorcycle fell on the road and the truck crushed them.

He told that in this accident the couple and their two daughters died on the spot.

After the accident, the driver tried to run away leaving the truck but the police caught him.

The police has conducted the post-mortem of the dead bodies.
