The total value of the military aid provided by the

Netherlands

to Ukraine is EUR 987 million.

This was announced by the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands, Kaisa Ollongren,

NL Times

reports .

The minister noted that 697 million euros were spent on equipment, the Netherlands also provided Ukraine with a military aid package worth 120 million euros and sent another 100 million euros to the International Fund for Ukraine.

The Netherlands also sent 25 million euros to the NATO fund, which finances military aid for Ukraine, which suffered due to Russian military aggression.

Ollongren noted that this large amount shows "how important it is to help Ukraine so that it does not lose the war with Russia."

The minister also stated that it is not yet clear when this aggression may end, and Russia continues to terrorize Ukrainians with its missile attacks.

"But Ukraine can survive at the expense of aid," the defense minister said.

The support given to Ukraine affects the combat capability of the Dutch military, but Ollongren is sure that this is acceptable, besides, everything that the Netherlands supplies to Ukraine is "immediately replenished."

She expects that industry will be able to produce more and it is necessary to "bring the production lines back to working order".

We will remind, earlier it was reported that in the Netherlands, a 55-year-old Russian tried to

circumvent sanctions by selling microcircuits and drones to Russia for 2 million euros

.

We also informed that the Russian propagandist Volodymyr Solovyov hysterically threatened an attack by the Russian Federation on the Netherlands,

where the International Criminal Court (in The Hague), which hears war crimes

, is located .
