The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and the head of the Ministry of Defense Sergey Shoigu   

also arrived in Minsk with an unannounced visit .

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Serhiy Shoigu and Viktor Khrenin have already discussed separate issues of military-technical cooperation and "strengthening the defense capabilities of the two states."
