The Department of Consumer Protection stated that the department cooperated with the Food and Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare to spot-check 54 water filling stations in 7 counties and cities in Tainan, Yunlin, Nantou, Kaohsiung, Taoyuan, Pingtung, and Taichung for heavy metals such as arsenic, lead, cadmium, and mercury.
