Today, December 19, Russian dictator Vladimir

Putin

will come to Belarus for talks with Alexander Lukashenko.

Putin wants to emphasize how important Belarus' participation in the war against Ukraine is for him.

The Deputy Chairman of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus Pavlo Latushko told about this on the air of the "Kyiv" TV channel.

"On the one hand, the meetings between Putin and Lukashenko around the New Year are regular in nature. Every December they meet within the framework of the so-called "supreme state council of the union state". But Lukashenko always flew to Moscow or St. Petersburg. In three years, this is Putin's first visit to Minsk. He wants to emphasize how important the participation of the Lukashenko regime in the war against Ukraine is for him. And to resolve those issues that Putin has not yet managed to resolve with Alexander Lukashenko," he explained.

Pavlo Latushko also noted that the main topic of the meeting is a military-political issue, as Belarus is of key importance for the war against Ukraine.

But its use is of strategic interest to Putin.

"Here you have to understand that Putin and Lukashenko are twin brothers, they are the two closest allies. The trade is based on how much Putin will pay Lukashenko for participating in this war," the politician summarized.

Meeting between Putin and Lukashenka

On December 19, Russian dictator

Vladimir Putin will come to Minsk for talks

with Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko.

At the meeting, the Kremlin leader will meet with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu.

It is also known that the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Khrenin will be present at these negotiations.

According to military expert Oleh Zhdanov, Putin will push Lukashenka to open a second front against Ukraine, or at least to "permit" the Russian army

to attack Ukraine again from Belarusian territory.

Analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War are convinced that Putin may fly to Lukashenka to put pressure on him once again and strengthen the information campaign regarding a possible new

advance of Russian troops from the territory of Belarus.

SBU Major General Viktor Yagun claims that the

participation of the Belarusian army in the war in Ukraine will destroy

the last chance to preserve the independence and independence of Belarus.

According to him, the majority of the Belarusian army does not want to fight.
