Putin may agree to the death or injury of 300,000 Russian soldiers.

This conclusion was made by The New York Times.

The New York Times published a new investigation into the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.

The publication provided a description of secret Russian documents, battle plans, interviews of Russian soldiers and Kremlin proxies.

Journalists studied the question that arose several months after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine: why was Russia unable to achieve its goal in Ukraine?

And also why, despite a series of shameful defeats at the front, the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, is ready to continue to sacrifice a large number of his soldiers and resources?

According to the source, from the first days of Russia's full-scale war in Ukraine, Putin admitted in private conversations that everything did not go according to plan.

Journalists publish information from their own sources about the meeting between the head of the CIA William Burns and the head of Russian foreign intelligence Sergei Naryshkin, which took place in November 2022.

"During a personal meeting with the Americans last month, the Russians wanted to convey a harsh message to President Joe Biden: no matter how many Russian soldiers are killed or wounded on the battlefield, Russia will not surrender," the source said.

As it turned out, one of the countries — members of the North Atlantic Alliance warned the allies that Putin may agree to the death or injury of 300 thousand Russian soldiers in order to gain an advantage in this war.

This is approximately three times more than the losses of Russian troops announced by the General Staff of Ukraine for today.

"The more setbacks Putin suffers on the battlefield, the greater the fear of how far he is willing to go.

It killed tens of thousands of people in Ukraine, razed cities to the ground, and targeted civilians, inflicting maximum pain on them—destroying hospitals, schools, and apartment buildings, and turning off electricity and water for millions of people before winter.

Every time the Armed Forces strike Russia in a big way, the bombing of their country increases.

And Putin has repeatedly reminded the world that he can use everything at his disposal, including nuclear weapons, to achieve his goal of victory," the article reads.

Let's add that the White House does not yet see signs of preparations for a

second attack by Russian troops on Kyiv

, but they are closely monitoring the actions of the Russian Federation.

At the same time, the representative of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat said that Russia has a clear plan for the offensive and the targets it wants to hit in Ukraine.

Also, in the context of the offensive of the Russian Federation, the

direction of Belarus can be considered.
