"

It is necessary to normalize the Bulgarian political life. ...

A government at any cost should not be made, because the people will be disgusted

".

This is what Iva Miteva told BNR

Iva Miteva Yordanova-Rupcheva was born on October 25, 1972 in Razgrad.

She graduated from university, former speaker of the National Assembly from "There is such a people

"There is such a people" is a political party in Bulgaria, created by the Bulgarian TV presenter, now he is an expert in the parliamentary administration.

Sociologist: GERB and DPS will decide whether to have a temporary compromise cabinet

She

did not answer whether she would do her own political project

, but commented:

"If I do something and want to do it, it's only because of this, because

I don't want it to remain that I lied to the Bulgarian voters who voted for me

. I want to give what I can and let's all do it together... . I don't want to be someone who came into politics to get something.

All I want is for my name to remain clear

."

In her words,

the quality of work in the National Assembly is increasingly falling:

"Everyone does what they want in the parliament, and the principle is "if it passes". ...

In the last three parliaments, a lot of authority, strength, nerves, time was wasted, and for nothing

.   "

The current parliament lacks individuality

, Miteva pointed out.

According to her

, the Election Code contains requirements that the CEC will not be able to implement:

"What has been done (the changes in the IC - n.b.)

violates equal suffrage

. ... In the end, it will turn out that there will be no machine voting.

Reading the IC, I will prefer to vote with a paper ballot, to be sure that my vote will be reflected

... They should have accepted the proposal of the BSP from 2020 - to have a choice either by machine or by paper. And a separate protocol from the machine, and a separate protocol from the paper ballot. It is important that there is a record of voting by machine and that a human hand does not touch it.

Now the receipt from the machine is not equivalent to the paper ballot.

The paper ballot has two stamps and the machine cut will have only one.

The note from the machine has the reflected vote, but it does not materialize the will of the voter because it is not the entire ballot.

It's a problem that can happen."

She predicts that it will not be possible to produce the necessary paper for the voting machines in the specified period.

Miteva also commented that the parliament's decision to provide military aid to Ukraine had a problem already with the first decision:

"The problem is already inherent in the first decision from November to provide military and military technical assistance to Ukraine. It says that we are providing aid, and the Council of Ministers must say what we have. However, according to the Constitution, domestic and foreign policy are within the prerogatives of the Council of Ministers. And here a responsibility is transferred to the SC, which it does not have. ... The new decision from December has exactly the same name. The first two points in it remain pending. There is a mixing of competences".
