At the entrance to Kyiv, border guards detained a UOC MP priest who was on his way to the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

During the check, anti-Ukrainian propaganda was found in his phone.

This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

A priest in the Kharkiv Diocese was traveling by bus from Kharkiv to Kyiv.

Border guards checked his phone near the capital.

Correspondence with Russian subscribers was discovered there.

In a conversation with them, the clergyman humiliates Ukrainians, calling them "Benderites and uncles", considers Russia to be "mother", and himself almost a martyr.

The border guards cited only a few quotes from the correspondence of the MP priest:

  • "I heard that you and your whole family left for Russia, Mother. If that's true, then I'm happy for you."

  • "I don't want to go to these meetings and see these embittered "Bender" faces."

  • "Uncle Vyko from polonin launched a line that when they start throwing us off the bell towers, then we will calm down."

  • "Soon the "benders" will eat us here or send us to where we need to go."

The collaborator was detained and handed over to the relevant services.

Searches of the SBU in the churches of the UOC MP

In Ukraine, large-scale searches have been taking place in the UOC MP in recent days.

There, the SBU finds anti-Ukrainian literature and other evidence of loyalty to the occupation army.

  • In the Lviv region, during searches, the SBU found a document on facilitating mobilization in the Russian Federation and a screenshot of a correspondence accusing NATO of a war against Ukraine.

  • A flag of the so-called "Novorossiya" and a library with propaganda literature by Russian authors were discovered in the Krasnohirsky Sviato-Pokrovsky Convent in Cherkasy Oblast.

  • Symbols of the banned party "OPZZH" and brochures praising the Russian invaders in the war against Ukraine were found in the St. Nicholas Men's Monastery in the Khust district of Transcarpathia.

  • Texts of prayers for the aggressor country and Russian "textbooks" praising the Putin regime were found in the Kovel district.

On December 11, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, introduced sanctions against seven figures of the UOC-MP.
