The teacher's death is reported on the page of the Malinovsky Lyceum No. 1 in the village of Malinivka, Chuguyiv district.

"The terrible news burns our hearts with pain - in the fight for Ukraine's independence with the Russian occupier, our fellow countryman, our colleague, our best physics teacher - Roman Yuriyovych Krymsalyuk died," the message reads.

It is noted that the man volunteered to defend Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale war.

"We bow our heads low in deep sorrow. No words can soothe the burning pain of loss and heal the wounds in the soul. The grateful memory of Roman Yuriyovych will be preserved by everyone who knew him, worked with him, befriended him and dreamed of a happy future in a free country ", the message says.

The lyceum decided to commemorate the soldier with a living corridor in the yard of the school.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces

repelled the attacks of the occupiers

in the areas of the settlements of Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Chervonpopivka, and Belogorivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamianske, Bakhmutske, Pidhorodne, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Krasnohorivka, Oleksandropil, Maryinka, Pobyeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region .

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Armed Forces of Ukraine

eliminated 520 Russian invaders

over the past day .

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation has lost about 98,800 soldiers.
