The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr

Lukashenko

, will try to the last to prevent and not enter the war, because for him, Belarus's participation in these wars is absolutely unprofitable.

Political consultant Dmytro Vasiliev told

about this in an interview with

TSN.ua.

"Yes, Belarus participates in this war with its territory, logistics, assistance in supplying Russia with weapons, repairing equipment, as well as in providing humanitarian and medical aid to Russia. In other words, in fact, Belarus is on the side of the aggressor. But for Lukashenka to order his Armed Forces to enter to war, it is, in fact, on the one hand to lose the Armed Forces on which it can rely in order to protect itself from the Belarusian people, and on the other hand to protect itself from Russia. Because then the army of Belarus will be subordinate to Russia, we we see that the Russian Federation is mocking its Armed Forces, its mobilized, contract workers, letting them die. The same will happen with the army of Belarus, that is, it will disappear very quickly," Vasiliev explained.

According to Vasiliev, this is an unacceptable scenario for Lukashenka.

Because according to experts, if Belarus will actively enter the war against Ukraine, it can stir up Belarusians and new protests can start.

"Alexander Lukashenko does not want this, so I think that he will resist to the last, and as a very experienced politician, he will be able to prevent the Belarusian Armed Forces from entering this war," summarized political consultant Dmytro Vasiliev.

Will Belarus join the war against Ukraine

The adviser of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovych believes that the occupiers would like to invade Ukraine from Belarus and

involve Belarusian troops in the war

, but they are currently unable to do so and do not have the necessary grouping for this.

SBU Major General Viktor Yagun claims that the participation of the Belarusian army in the war in Ukraine will destroy the last chance to preserve the independence and independence of Belarus.

According to him,

the majority of the Belarusian army does not want to fight

.

However, Russia is now actively working in this direction, pushing for the mobilization of the population and the involvement of Belarusian military units in hostilities.

Analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War believe that Vladimir Putin may fly to Minsk to meet with Alexander Lukashenko in order to once again put pressure on the self-proclaimed president of Belarus and strengthen the information campaign about a

possible new offensive of Russian troops from the territory of Belarus.
