A man survived a tornado in Louisiana, USA, because he went to the toilet.

[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] Recently, the town of Gretna in Louisiana, USA was hit by a tornado, hundreds of houses were instantly destroyed, and 3 people were killed.

After a man went to the toilet at home on the 14th, he looked out the door and found that his house was flattened by the tornado except the bathroom. He was lucky to escape.

According to the US "Business Insider" report, the son-in-law Keith Eccles (Keith Eccles) is a local artist. When he heard the tornado hit, he was painting a portrait of Mark Twain in the studio. He worried about his father-in-law's safety. After the storm ended, Immediately went to check, and found that the house where the father-in-law lived, except for the bathroom, had been "torn to pieces" by the storm.

Ax recalled the incident and said, "It only happened for a few seconds, it was very loud, and then it was quiet again." The father-in-law who escaped the accident because he rushed to the toilet said with lingering fear, "Come out I don't know what happened at the time."

Gretna Police Chief Arthur Lawson said that about 200 houses and businesses in the area were severely damaged by the tornado, and Mayor Belinda Constant also said that about 30 of the buildings needed to be demolished urgently.

This incident caused some families to be displaced, power outages and other accidents are still being dealt with.
