Russia uses 40-year-old ammunition during missile strikes, since the occupiers have plenty of Soviet missiles.

This was stated by the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, General Mykola Malomuzh in an interview with Obozrevatel.

He reminded that there is a "large amount" of Soviet ammunition and missile systems in the Russian Federation.

In particular, there are even Ukrainian missiles transferred within the framework of the Budapest Memorandum.

"In warehouses in the Russian Federation, there is a large number of projectiles and missiles that have not been stored very well for forty years, have not been checked, and have not been rehabilitated. They will also be transferred to the front, despite the fact that they can be used inefficiently," says Malomuzh.

According to him, there are examples when missiles launched into Ukraine fell on the territory of Russia or did not reach the target in Ukraine.

However, Malomuzh emphasizes that the Russian Federation currently has enough missiles to continue terror.

At the same time, the occupiers are replenishing their missile reserves thanks to their own production.

Partly thanks to the purchase of missiles and components for them from allies, including Chinese electronics.

In addition, the Russians purchase electronics for missiles in third countries, which resell them.

"Yes, American and European electronics are getting to Russia. It will not be massive, but it will be dozens and hundreds of missiles that will also replenish the reserves," explained the former head of foreign intelligence.

Rocket terror of the Russian Federation

We will remind that the last massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine was carried out by the Russians on December 16.

In particular, the invaders fired

40 missiles at Kyiv, of which 37 were

shot down by air defense forces.

The Air Force answered whether Russia's missile terror will intensify before the New Year.

According to the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Kirill Budanov, Russia only has missiles left for a few large-scale attacks.

Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, noted that Russia

spends more reserves on missile strikes against Ukraine than it can replenish

, and some missiles actually leave the assembly line.
