The alumni association also elected You Zhengying, the current mayor of the Fuxing District of Taoyuan City, as the chairman.

He, Du Zhengji, mayor of Wutai Township, Pingtung County, and Lin Gaotang, executive supervisor of Renai Township Farmers Association, were also selected as outstanding alumni and received a plaque from President Chen Weinan.

Principal Chen Weinan said that Ren'ai Gaonong used to be a key school for aboriginal people. The students came from aboriginal townships all over Taiwan. Some alumni recalled that they had to take five buses to get home. I went to work in the mountains to help grow vegetables and fruits.

Among the alumni who have graduated are many who have entered politics and have been re-elected as mayor of Fuxing District You Zhengying, Mayor of Wutai Township Du Zhengji, Mayor of Jianshi Township in Hsinchu County Zeng Guoda, and outgoing Mayor Ge Zhongyi of Wufeng Township, as well as the current aboriginal people Lin Bixia, the deputy chairman of the meeting, is a classmate of the school's normal normal department.

Chen Weinan said that in 1971, the school set up a general teacher training department to train elementary school teachers for Yuanmin townships. However, the department only enrolled students in 1971 and 1972, and then stopped recruiting. Therefore, many people do not know that Renai Gaonong has trained teachers. Most of these graduates later cultivated talents in their hometowns, but some of them switched to politics to serve more people.

Renai Gaonong's 90th birthday, invited alumni, guests and the former director of the school to cut a big cake.
