Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has postponed the date of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine three times.

This was stated by the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Vadym Skibitsky in an interview with the German publication BILD.

"According to our information, the attack was postponed three times, the last time was in mid-February," says Skibitsky.

According to him, Putin discussed the date of the invasion several times with the Chief of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov and the Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu.

"The FSB insisted on the offensive, they were convinced that they had sufficiently prepared for the invasion. They invested huge resources and pushed Gerasimov to invade," said a representative of the GUR.

In the end, Gerasimov succumbed to pressure and agreed to the so-called "special operation".

"How badly they miscalculated is evidenced by the fact that their units were provided with food, ammunition and fuel for only three days. In the first days of the war, the best units of the Russian armed forces suffered the greatest losses, as they were not ready for such a struggle," he noted. Skibitskyi.

He noted that all of the initial goals of the Russian Federation failed to be realized: they were unable to encircle Kyiv, and were also unable to take Sumy, Chernihiv, or Kharkiv.

Earlier, The New York Times reported that Putin refused to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky before the war and called him "an accomplice of Nazism."

According to this publication, in February 2022, the Russian army

planned to take Kyiv in 18 hours.

According to the Financial Times, Putin was warned before the invasion of Ukraine about the catastrophic consequences of the war for Russia.

The director of Sberbank Herman Gref and the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina told the dictator about the panic in the financial markets and the throwback of the Russian economy decades back.
