The information about the retreat of Russians from some settlements of the left-bank Kherson region is not true and may be a trap.

This was stated by the head of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavri region Yevhen Yerin, informs "Espresso".

"On the left bank of the Dnieper, enemy troops are constantly being redeployed from several settlements. However, it is too early to talk about their retreat. Because such statements by the enemy about retreat can be an information trap to force the Armed Forces to act according to their rules," Yerin explained.

He emphasized that the Russians are an insidious enemy, so they are trying to mislead the Ukrainian forces.

"Therefore, only after a specific assessment of the situation and the actions of the enemy, we will decide whether the Russians are really retreating from a number of settlements on the left bank of the Dnieper. After all, there are certain signs that the Russians are trying to mislead us," said a representative of the Defense Forces of the Tauri region.

What is known about the withdrawal of troops from the occupiers in the Kherson region

Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces noted that the occupiers are spreading information about their alleged plans to leave Kakhovka by the end of this year.

According to the information of the General Staff, the Russians are redeploying individual units and withdrawing part of their troops from Kakhovka and Novaya Kakhovka of the Kherson region to the Nizhny Syrogozy district.

The representative of OK "Pivden" Nataliya Gumenyuk said that this diversion could be a trap.
