Oleksandr Krayev, an expert of the Ukrainian Prism Foreign Policy Council, believes that the moment may come when Western partners will tell Ukraine that they can no longer provide it with financial and

military support

in the fight against Russian aggression, saying that resources have already been exhausted.

He told "Channel 24" about this.

"You have already received more than Iraq and Afghanistan. Let's move on."

Supporters of Donald Trump and socialists in the US are already raising a similar theme.

Like, Ukraine receives too much," the expert gave an example.

In his opinion, the leadership of Ukraine needs to prepare now to respond to such theses.

Oleksandr Kraev presented three theses that should convince partners and help Ukraine in the future.

An advantageous position for China

It is necessary to convince allies that stopping support for Ukraine will help China.

"Leaving Ukraine without money and any other support, the West will make China become a full-fledged hegemon in the world. In fact, the defeat of Ukraine is not just a victory for Russia, it is a victory for China. And this is exactly what sounds the most to the entire West threatening. China scares Western countries much more than spending many billions of dollars on Ukraine," he explained.

Reputation and PR of politicians

"Too much has been invested in Ukraine, and for many politicians the success of Ukraine is very directly correlated with their own success. In fact, the failure of Ukraine in any format is the failure of these politicians," the expert says.

"If Russia doesn't stop now, it's definitely not the end"

In his opinion, the third is one of the most important arguments that Ukraine should emphasize: if Russia does not stop now, it will definitely not be the end.

"What are the guarantees that now with the latest technologies and with nuclear weapons, after the conditional reconciliation, Russia will stop in Ukraine and not start aggression somewhere else?" Kraev emphasized.

Krayev also believes that the recent statement by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,

Valery Zaluzhnyi

, that Russia is preparing a new offensive, was aimed at getting Western partners to increase the amount of military aid.

"It was a very correct hint and a very well-executed information operation on the part of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces," the political scientist noted.

The expert also said that there is a possibility that one of the European politicians may offer Kyiv to make partial concessions to Russia, for example, to cede certain territories.

However, according to the political scientist, Kyiv should have its own answer to this as well.

"Back in the days of the first Berlin crises of the 1960s, the Caribbean crisis, and in all subsequent conflicts, the Russians used the "salami" tactic. It is about gradual aggression, when Russia each time squeezed out a small piece that the West was ready to give. If the West now surrenders one small question, where is the guarantee that Russia will not ask for the same "little" next time? By handing over one small part, we run the risk of handing over something more," the expert summarized.

Military aid to Ukraine

Great Britain announced a

new package of military aid

for Ukraine in the amount of 50 million pounds.

For the first time, Morocco will provide

military aid to Ukraine

.

Morocco, on the recommendation of the USA, decided to provide Ukraine with spare parts for T-72 tanks.

The German government approved a

list of military aid to Ukraine.

It included 18 RCH 155 self-propelled artillery units, 80 pickup trucks and 90 anti-drone means.
