A new attack on Kyiv will be an absolutely insane decision by the Kremlin, given the military logic.

Military and political analyst Yuriy Fedorov told about this on Apostrof TV.

According to him, to take the well-fortified capital of Ukraine, you need not 200,000 soldiers, but 2-3 times more.

This is evidenced by the experience of the Second World War, because how many forces were required to capture large cities and what sacrifices were made by the side that was on the offensive.

"For several months, the occupiers have been storming the small town of Bakhmut, albeit well-protected, head-on, without success, using about 30,000 people. In order to approach Kyiv, you probably need 5 times more personnel, and to take it, even more. That's why the 200,000 people who are supposedly preparing for an offensive are not at all the forces that can be used to take Kyiv," the analyst noted.

Fedorov emphasized that during the winter offensive, the troops can only travel on paved roads and, of course, logistical problems will arise, and the enemy army can simply be destroyed by the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Therefore, if Moscow tries to organize an attack on Kyiv again, it will fail one hundred percent," said the military analyst.

Let's add that the White House does not yet see signs of

a second Russian attack on Kyiv

, but they are closely monitoring the actions of the Russians.

At the same time, the ex-commander of the ground forces of the Republic of Poland said that the Russian army is restoring its combat capabilities thanks to cooperation with other countries.

Also, in the context of the offensive of the Russian Federation, the

direction of Belarus can be considered.
