In the American city of Atlanta (Georgia), two teenagers died during a shootout, and three more were hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

As the police explained, the reason for the shooting was a dispute in social networks.

Police officers arrived at the scene of the call at a residential complex in the southwest of the city on Saturday after 5:00 p.m. local time (around midnight Kyiv time).

Two of the injured during the shootout were dead, the others were hospitalized.

The police department told reporters that two boys aged 14 and 16 were killed, and two boys aged 11 and 15 and a 15-year-old girl were injured.

"We know that there was a dispute on social networks that turned into a shooting.

One group of people came to the apartment with weapons, and then another group started shooting back," Deputy Director of the Police Department, Charles Hampton Jr., explained in detail. 

He also added that the shooting started in the apartment, and then moved to the street, where two dead people were found.

Homicide detectives interviewed several other individuals to determine their involvement.

The police complain that there are too many weapons in the hands of American youth.

This leads to the fact that on the eve of the Christmas holidays, two families will have funerals, and several more - problems with the law. 

We will remind, earlier, near a shopping center in Atlanta, teenagers staged a shooting.

It was organized by young people who had previously been taken out of the station for inappropriate behavior and curfew violations.
