Dictator of Belarus Oleksandr

Lukashenko

is holding numerous meetings with his generals ahead of the December 19 meeting with Putin in Minsk.

The Deputy Chairman of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus, Pavlo Latushko, said this on the FREEDOM TV channel.

Referring to opposition data, he said that in recent days, Lukashenko had received the Minister of Defense, representatives of the Security Council and the KGB, and other security forces at meetings.

They will stir up various discussions to form a position for the upcoming meeting with Putin.

"For the last few days, the cars of high-ranking generals have been constantly leaving Lukashenka. The Minister of Defense, representatives of the Security Council and the KGB, and other law enforcement officers are at his meetings. There is a very active hour-long discussion of the decisions being made. The main goal is to develop a position for the upcoming meeting with Putin... We can draw a clear conclusion with you that the main topic of negotiations at the meeting of the two dictators will be the military-political issue," says the Belarusian opposition figure.

He assumed that Putin and Lukashenko would at least discuss mobilization in Belarus, the production of weapons for the Russian Federation.

In addition, it may be about the creation of a joint army of Belarus and Russia and plans for a possible attack on the territory of Ukraine from the north.

At the same time, Latushko noted that currently there are no signs in Belarus that Lukashenka's army has a formed strike group.

"But the fact that certain strategic decisions can be made there (at the meeting between Putin and Lukashenka), I am practically sure. For this, of course, Lukashenko will want to get something, to bargain additionally. But for now, everything is going to the worst scenario for Belarusians." , Latushko expressed his opinion.

What is known about the meeting between Putin and Lukashenka

On December 19, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will come to Minsk

for talks with Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko.

At the meeting, the Kremlin leader will meet with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu.

It is also known that the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Khrenin will be present at these negotiations.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov believes that

Putin will pressure Lukashenka to open a second front against Ukraine,

or at least to "permit" the Russian army to attack Ukraine again from Belarusian territory.

In turn, the Belarusian underground reported that during the talks between the dictators Putin and Lukashenka  , the

opportunity for the Russians to fully use the Belarusian defense and industrial complex for further aggression against Ukraine could become a

"bargaining coin"  .

Analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War are convinced that Putin may fly to Lukashenka to put pressure on him once again and

strengthen the information campaign about a possible new offensive of

Russian troops from the territory of Belarus.

On the other hand, the commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev, is convinced that Putin, during his planned visit to Lukashenka, will put pressure on him so

that Belarus joins the armed aggression against Ukraine.

"In our opinion, during this meeting, the issues of further aggression against Ukraine and the wider involvement of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus in the operation against Ukraine, in particular, in our opinion, on land, will be worked out," Nayev said on December 18.

But military expert Oleg Zhdanov also explains that the Belarusian army does not plan to fight against Ukraine, but Lukashenka needs to

show Putin that he is preparing for an invasion.
