The most famous Russian propagandists, including Nikita Mikhalkov and Grigoriy Leps, fell under European sanctions.

This was announced by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.

"Russian propagandists are cowards and good-for-nothings who adore the West, buy real estate there, but use the Kremlin's money to poison the heads of slaves so that it would be easier to send them to death. But their problem is that they constantly lie about Ukraine, which means they all will be punished," Yermak emphasized.

He added that the McFaul-Yermak group actively lobbied for sanctions against Russian propagandists at all levels.

Therefore, in the 9th package of EU sanctions, the following were restricted: Vladimir Tyulin and Mikhail Tukhmachev (Ren TV), Kiril Kovalchuk ("National Media Group"), Marina Kim - TV presenter and politician, Dmitry Puchkov, Grigoriy Leps, Boris Korchevnikov (Russia- 1), Nikita Mikhalkov, Roskomnadzor, All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK), NMG, ANO "TV NOVOSTI". 

"And this is just the beginning. There will be more to come," wrote the head of the OP.

We will remind, on December 16, the European Union officially approved the ninth package of sanctions against the aggressor of the Russian Federation.

Currently, it is known, in particular, that Russian channels that are under the influence of the Kremlin and "spread Russian disinformation and propaganda" have been sanctioned by the EU.

These are NTV, First Channel, Rossiya 1 and REN TV.
