According to IMD, there will be a cold wave in North India in the next few days.

With the passage of the first week of the month of December, the cold has also started increasing in Delhi.

The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 6.2 degree Celsius, which is the lowest temperature of this season.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.

The weather office has predicted an overall clear sky on Saturday.

The maximum and minimum temperature in the capital is expected to be around 24 and 5 degree Celsius respectively.

Along with this, the effect of increasing cold is also visible in the whole of North India.

According to the Meteorological Department, cold wave will prevail in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and North-Western Rajasthan in the next few days.

Due to the cold winds coming from the mountains, there has been a significant drop in day and night temperatures.

In Lucknow, the capital of UP, the minimum temperature can be recorded at 10 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 25 degrees today.

Outbreak of winter can now be seen in North India.

There will be a drop in temperature by 2-3 degree Celsius in the coming days.

It is believed that there will be a drop in temperature in Bihar, Jharkhand, UP and Uttarakhand as well and there will be severe cold.

Today, light to moderate rain may occur at one or two places in the southern islands of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Chennai, Tamil Nadu from today i.e. December 17 for the next four-five days.
