[Reporter Cai Shuyuan/Taichung Report] There was news of a power outage in Taichung City at noon today. Nantun and South Districts had a power outage at 12:26 noon. There were 6,273 households, and power was restored at 3:04. According to rumors that the power outage was due to an explosion in a transformer box, Taipower clarified that it was a fault in the switch box of the underground line, and there was no explosion.

Taipower stated that the scope of the power outage was the second section of Meicun Road, Zhongming South Road, and the second section of Fuxing Road in the southern district. According to statistics, there were 6,273 households with power outages. Taipower personnel used the automated system to isolate the fault area at 12:29:29 to reduce the fault. Scope, 5907 households will be called first, and the remaining 366 households will be called at about 13:04.
