A pair of Greek teachers teaching at a school in the western part of the Attica region are among 11 detained for involvement in an international drug-trafficking criminal group, ANA-MPA reported, citing Greek police.

The broken group imported cannabis from Spain into Greece and distributed it along with cocaine in Attica - the area where the capital city of Athens is located.

The drug network was broken up in a special operation on December 13 in cooperation between the US Drug Enforcement Agency DEA and the Greek special services, during which a total of 11 people were detained, of which 9 were members of the criminal organization.
