The US will soon announce the next package of military aid to Ukraine, which will include more air defense equipment.

The spokesman for the National Security Council of the White House, John Kirby, announced this on December 16, writes The Guardian.

"As you've seen in previous packs, I think you can expect to see

in this one ," Kirby briefed.

It will be recalled that the publication Politico reported that due to the possible attack of Russia on Kyiv, the USA may give Ukraine new weapons.

These are Patriot anti-missile systems, direct-targeting munitions kits and small-diameter ground bombs.

We should add that the day before, the US Senate approved a bill with a record defense budget for 2023.

It is about 858 billion dollars.

Of this amount, 800 million dollars.

intended for Ukraine.
