The Ministry of Culture clarified the issue of earning 1905.2 manats from films commissioned by the state.

APA reports that Rufat Hasanov, head of the Audiovisual and Interactive Media Department of the Ministry of Culture, said this during his speech at the discussion on "Cinema and Business: Bridges" at the YARAT center.

According to Rufat Hasanov, this number is actually huge:

"The period in which 1,905.2 manats of profit was made from films commissioned by the state coincides with the pandemic. This figure is, in fact, a very large figure for that period. Because cinemas were closed during the pandemic, only two films were shown after the cinemas opened. These are "The inner island" and "Olympia" were the films, and the income was obtained from these two films. I should also add that the film "Olympia" was shown for only 2 weeks.

The director of the department emphasized that he is hopeful about the next two films expected to be shown by the audience: "I think that both "Life seems to be beautiful" and "Marble Cold" will do well in cinemas. However, I do not believe that the films will earn more than their budgets. Because the demand no".

It should be noted that in the results of the inspection measures conducted by the Accounting Chamber regarding the use of the funds allocated from the state budget for the production of films commissioned by the state, it was noted that a total of 1905.2 manats of income was obtained for all the films made.
