According to the schedule of reception of citizens in cities and regions in December, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Anar Karimov held the reception of citizens at the Sumgayit City Heydar Aliyev Center.

According to the information given to APA by the Ministry of Culture, the reception of Anar Karimov this time covered the cities and regions of Sumgait, Absheron, Khizi, Gubadli, Zangilan, Shusha.

At the same time, the applications of citizens from other cities and regions were heard at the reception.

Before the reception, the Minister of Culture Anar Karimov and the head of the Sumgayit City Executive Authority Zakir Farajov visited the monument of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and laid flowers in front of it.

The minister and the executive head of the city visited the Alley of Sumgayit Martyrs and paid their respects to the memory of the heroic sons who died for the Motherland.

Then Anar Karimov, who came to the Heydar Aliyev Center in Sumgayit City, got acquainted with the activities of the center.

It was reported that the new building of the center, which has been operating since 2013, was inaugurated in 2016 with the participation of the head of state.

In the center, the life path and statehood activities of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of our people, the founder of modern independent Azerbaijan, are promoted.

Here, various associations operate and events are organized.

Later, reception of citizens was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center with the participation of responsible employees of the ministry.

Residents' appeals mainly covered employment, change of workplace, support for exhibition and book presentation, award of honorary title, extension of employment contract, repair of cultural institutions, activities and other issues.

Anar Karimov listened to citizens' appeals and proposals, considered their applications and complaints.

He gave appropriate assignments for prompt, comprehensive investigation of the raised issues and their resolution in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.

It should be noted that listening to the appeals and problems of local residents and taking appropriate steps to solve them is the focus of our state.

In accordance with the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the heads of the central executive authorities and other management institutions receive citizens in the regions every month for this purpose.
