The Hague Special Tribunal for Kosovo found Salih Mustafa, the former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, guilty of war crimes and sentenced him to 26 years in prison.

APA informs that this was stated by the reporter of TASS, who participated in the trial.

Salih Mustafa was found guilty of torture, illegal detention and murder

It was noted that Salih Mustafa was found guilty of 3 charges brought against him (torture, illegal imprisonment and murder), but was acquitted of one charge (ill-treatment).

For this reason, he sentenced him to 26 years in prison, minus the time he has been in prison so far.

It should be noted that the indictment against Salih Mustafa was approved on June 12, 2020.

At the end of September of that year, he was arrested in Kosovo and transferred to the detention center of the court.
