After the massive missile strikes by the occupiers, the European Union is intensifying its support for Ukraine.

It is about the restoration of electricity and heat supply.

This was stated by the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, in his statement on Friday, December 16.

"The EU and its partners are intensifying efforts to provide the emergency assistance needed by the Ukrainian people to restore and maintain electricity and heat supplies. The Ukrainian people are showing

admirable strength, courage and resilience in the face of Russia's aggressive war.

The European Union stands firmly in solidarity with them. As long as it is necessary, and to the extent that it is necessary," Borrell stressed.

The European diplomat called the Russian attacks on Ukraine "cruel and inhumane" and emphasized that their perpetrators should be brought to justice, added the head of European diplomacy.

"These brutal, inhumane attacks are aimed at increasing human suffering and depriving the Ukrainian population of hospitals, emergency services and other critical services of electricity, heating and water," Borrell said.
