On Friday, December 16, a car left on the side of the road exploded as an armored minibus with police special forces was passing by in Diyarbakır province in southeastern Turkey.

8 police officers and one civilian were injured.

This was reported by the Turkish publication TRT Haber.

A remote-controlled bomb was used for the attack, which was planted in a rented car.

After waiting for the police minibus to pass, the terrorist detonated.

According to the Minister of Internal Affairs Suleiman Soylu, five suspects were detained.

One of them admitted that he drove the car to the highway and planted a bomb.

The law enforcement officers claim that the organizer of the explosion is the brother of a member of the terrorist organization, who was neutralized by special forces back in 2004.

All nine people who suffered minor injuries were taken to the hospital, but did not require long-term hospitalization.

It will be recalled that the Turkish city of Istanbul was restless again after the recent terrorist attack.

Explosions rang out in one of the city districts, and several parked cars were also set ablaze.
