Russian President Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting with members of the Security Council.

According to the information provided by APA's Moscow correspondent referring to the Kremlin's press service, Putin proposed to discuss the current issues of ensuring the security of the Russian Federation and cooperation with neighboring countries at the meeting.

"Today, we will consider current issues related to ensuring security in various areas for the country, and we will also talk about our interaction with our neighbors in certain areas that are very important for us," the Russian President noted.

Later, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made a speech.
