Hong Chongpin said that his parents started raising pigs. In the early years, his elder brother inherited pig raising. He was engaged in the building materials industry. Later, due to the foot-and-mouth disease in Taiwan in 1986, many people abandoned their pastures. He had to jump down to help his family. Although I don’t understand pig raising at all, I introduced the concept of factory enterprise management into the pig raising business, abandoned traditional thinking, insisted on being in line with international standards, and adopted a new breeding model of "three places, three sections, unified entry and unified exit" to cut off vertical infection. I also spent a lot of money, and persisted in this way for more than 20 years. At present, there are 6 breeding bases of 10 hectares, and nearly 20,000 pigs are raised.
Hong Chongpin said that although he has no experience in raising pigs, through continuous classes and reading, he quickly absorbed outside information, knew what was right and what was wrong, and read books better than himself.
