A car bomb has injured eight police officers in southern Turkey.

The car was parked on the side of the road late Thursday night.

The explosion took place at the moment when the service van of the law enforcement forces passed by, Nova TV reported.

After the strong explosion, it caught fire.

A total of eight policemen were taken to Diyarbekir hospital with serious injuries.

Their condition is currently unclear.
