On Friday, December 16,

there is a high probability of snow avalanches in the

Carpathian Mountains .

Rescuers warn of danger.

This was 

reported

to the State Emergency Service. 

It is noted that we are talking about the third level of danger in the territory of Prykarpattia and Transcarpathia. 

"On December 16, in connection with the thaw and precipitation, a significant avalanche danger is expected in the highlands of Ivano-Frankivsk and the eastern part of Zakarpattia Oblast," rescuers emphasize.

We will remind, weather forecaster Stanislav Shchedrin reported that 

December will traditionally be the warmest month of this winter, 

as well as rich in precipitation.
