An organization protested in Indore city against Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's upcoming film 'Pathan' and its song 'Besharam Rang...', and burnt effigies of both the famous actors.

Activists of an organization named 'Veer Shivaji Group' gathered at Malwa Mill Square in Indore and protested against the song 'Besharam Rang...' from 'Pathan' and burnt effigies of Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

The protesters demanded a ban on the film, which is slated to release in January next year, alleging that the Hindu community is feeling insulted and hurt by the content of the song.

Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister and state government spokesperson Narottam Mishra told reporters in Indore after offering prayers at Janapav Kuti, the birthplace of Lord Parshuram near Mhow town, "The song 'Besharam Rang' was shot with a corrupt mindset. ..' the actor and actress are dressed in objectionable green and saffron colored clothes... The color of these clothes, the song lyrics and the name of the film (Pathan) need correction... I believe The title of the song 'Besharam Rang...' is also objectionable in itself..."

Narottam Mishra said that if the producer and director of 'Pathan' did not improve some scenes of the song, then it would be considered whether or not to allow the film's exhibition in the state.

The Home Minister had also alleged that Deepika Padukone had reached Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in support of the alleged 'tukde-tukde gang'.

He had said that after this step, the mentality of the actress has already come in front of everyone.

Mishra also took a jibe at Shah Rukh Khan, saying, "It is a good thing that he (Shah Rukh Khan) went to visit Mata Vaishnodevi recently... But on the one hand he goes to see Mataji, on the other hand the woman They bring actresses in bikini in their films, this is also not right..."
