Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, stated that the abolition of responsibility in Russia for crimes in the occupied territories is in fact the legalization of looting, rape and murder as the main tools of the aggressor country.

Podoliak wrote about it on the Web.

"The removal of responsibility by the State Duma of the Russian Federation for crimes in the occupied territories that were committed "in the interests of Russia" is the actual legalization of looting, rape and murder as the main tools of the Russian state.

Now do you understand why an international special tribunal is needed?

" - reads the statement of the chairman's adviser OP.

As a reminder, the State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted in the first reading a draft law that abolishes criminal liability for crimes in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, if they were committed for the sake of "protecting the interests of Russia" until September 30, 2022.

Let's add that the day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the need to create an international special tribunal to bring Russian leaders to justice right now, before the end of the war.
