Over BGN 14 billion is the annual expenditure on pensions from the State Social Insurance (DSO) at the end of November, according to the National Insurance Institute (NII).

From there, they provide information every month on the cash performance of the budgets of the social insurance funds administered by the institute by virtue of legal delegation.

In the structure of the total expenses, the largest share is occupied by the expenses for pensions, which amount to BGN 14,051.7 million, which is 90.6% of the implementation of the plan for the year, according to the NSI.

The expenses for pensions for the eleven months of the year are BGN 1,889.8 million or 15.5% more compared to the same period last year, the institute also specifies. 

As of November 30, 2022, the total amount of reported revenues is BGN 9,021.1 million, which represents 93.2% implementation of the plan for the year.

The received revenues are BGN 802 million more compared to the same period of 2021.

The total reported expenses amount to BGN 16,326.7 million, or 89.5% of the plan for the year.

The expenses are BGN 1,562.8 million more than in the same period of 2021, informs the National Institute of Statistics.

BGN 743.3 million was spent to pay the popular "covid supplement" amount of BGN 60 to the pensions of all pensioners. These funds are not planned in the budget of DOO for 2022 and are from the foreign funds account of The NSI, disclosed on the basis of PMS No. 479 of 2021, also show the data of the NSI.

BGN 57 million were spent on one-time supplements of BGN 75 for vaccinated pensioners. These funds are also not planned in the budget of the State Educational Institution for 2022 and are from the account for foreign funds of the National Institute of Social Sciences, disclosed on the basis of PMS No. 474 of 2021 .

The NSI also informs that BGN 101.7 million payable for the period from January to June 2022 has been spent for the payment of additional compensatory amounts for the difference up to the amount of pension income in December 2021. For the payment of the called

"Easter supplement" of BGN 70 for each pensioner, BGN 143.4 million was spent.

The National Institute of Social Security indicates that the next most significant and large group of expenses in the consolidated budget of the Public Employment Service is the expenses for the payment of cash benefits and benefits under the Social Security Code, which as of November 30, 2022, amount to BGN 1,983.9 million .or 86.8% implementation of the plan for the year.

Reported expenses for the eleven months of the year are BGN 134.3 million more than in the same period of 2021, the institute also informs.

The total amount of reported transfers (net) according to the consolidated budget of DOO as of November is BGN 7,170.2 million, according to the NII. 

The reported income in the Teachers' Pension Fund as of November 30 is in the amount of BGN 88.2 million, which represents 83.6% implementation of the plan for the year.

The received revenues are BGN 4.4 million more than in the same period of 2021, informs the National Institute of Statistics.

The payment of pensions and supplements of BGN 70 begins

The total reported expenses of the Teachers' Pension Fund as of November 30 amounted to BGN 63.0 million, which represents 75.3% implementation of the plan for the year.

The expenses incurred are BGN 14.7 million more than in the same period of 2021, the institute also states.

The reported revenues as of November 30 amount to BGN 2,181.7 thousand, which represents 87.3% implementation of the plan for the year.

The received revenues are BGN 583.0 thousand less compared to the same period of 2021. Total reported expenses amount to BGN 1,146.9 thousand, which represents 24.1% implementation of the plan for the year .

The incurred expenses are BGN 2,302.2 thousand less compared to the same period of 2021, the NSI summarizes.

A month ago, the NOI informed that from the beginning of the year to the end of October they amounted to a total of 12.5 billion BGN.
