He said that there is successful cooperation in the field of education as well as in the economic field.

According to the diplomat, several universities from Azerbaijan participate in the Erasmus program of the EU and these universities have received grants.

One of them is ADA University.

Peter Mikhalko added that Azerbaijani students show great interest in studying in European universities: "We witness that students from the EU also come to Azerbaijan and study here."

The diplomat emphasized that the EU actively participates in campaigns and projects related to gender equality in Azerbaijan: "We work together with our partners from the UN against gender-based violence.

In order to further strengthen women in Azerbaijan, we are implementing projects related to support for women entrepreneurs.

He noted that cooperation and dialogue with Azerbaijan is conducted at all levels.

The diplomat recalled that the meeting of the Cooperation Council of Azerbaijan and the EU was held in Brussels in July of this year: "The Eastern Partnership provides opportunities for our bilateral cooperation.

At the beginning of this week, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov participated in the meeting of the heads of foreign affairs of the EU and the Eastern Partnership in Brussels.

Negotiations on a new agreement between the EU and Azerbaijan continue, and these negotiations have entered a new stage.

We believe that this agreement will open new opportunities for our cooperation."

Mikhalkho also spoke about the activities of the civil society.

He emphasized that support to civil society is important: "Active civil society ensures sustainable development.

Therefore, adequate conditions for civil society should be provided."

Peter Mikhalko also emphasized the importance of the rule of law and judicial reforms: "We will continue to pay attention to these areas and will consider them in our dialogue and bring them up if necessary."
