The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhnyi, held a telephone conversation with the Commander-in-Chief of NATO's Joint Forces in Europe and the Commander of the US Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli.

This is stated in Zaluzhny's message on the Web.

"We exchanged assessments of the strategic situation with the Supreme Commander of the Joint NATO Forces in Europe and the Commander of the US Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli. We

discussed our needs in weapons and equipment

," the statement said.

Zaluzhnyi also emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are making every effort to stabilize the situation in the east and

are preparing for various scenarios of events in the coming months.

It will be recalled that a few days earlier, Zaluzhny spoke about the situation at the front and Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure with the Chief of the Joint Staff of the French Armed Forces, Army General Thierry Burkar.

Note that Ukraine may receive the Patriot air defense system from the USA in the near future.

This was stated by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak.

It is the Patriot, as well as the SAMP-T, that would help Ukraine defend itself against enemy ballistic missile attacks.
