The Russian military may launch a new massive missile attack on Ukrainian cities next week.

This assumption was expressed by a military expert, a reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Roman Svitan, of Channel 24.

According to him, preparations for a new massive strike in Russia have been going on for about two weeks.

Therefore, a new shelling may take place no earlier than next week.

He also added that enemy troops are constantly changing the trajectory of missiles.

However, as Svitan noted, Russia has tangible logistical problems due to the attacks on "Engels" and "Diaghilev".

In addition, they understand that Ukraine tracks the movement of missile carriers

TU-95, TU-160, TU-22 to the Urals

, at least.

"They will most likely

change the flight routes of rockets and missile carriers.

And this will increase the time of preparation," the military expert noted.

Russia's last massive strike

The last mass attack was on December 5.

At that time, Russia launched more than 70 missiles at Ukraine, of which Ukrainian air defense managed to shoot down 60.

Kyiv region, Odesa region, Vinnytsia region and other regions were affected by rocket attacks.

The energy system of Odesa and the surrounding areas suffered the most after the attack on December 5.
