"Today we introduced bills.

We have sent a letter to all political parties.

Tomorrow, at the Chairman's Council, we will tell them: "We still have a chance to continue responsibly moving forward with this parliament, but we do not believe in words, but in actions," Petkov pointed out.

Asked if the president gives the mandate next week, and the parliament does not have time to pass some bills, Petkov answered: "When there is a will, time can be found".

"If tomorrow the political parties that form more than 121 votes say that they agree - we will immediately send a letter to the president to give us time to vote for them," revealed Petkov.

He did not confirm the name of Nadezhda Yordanova as a candidate for prime minister.

"Are the deputies in this National Assembly ready to work on the real issues of the Bulgarians?"

If they are ready, the experts in both groups - PP and DB - will be found.

We are not hiding behind experts, and it will not be necessary at all costs for someone to be in a given position", said Petkov.

Petkov asked BSP and Ninova to support the president's veto and reopen the debate on the Electoral Code.

"If they are ready to take these steps, we are ready to talk with them," said Petkov.

"I don't know where this optimism for the third term would come from.

We are ready to take the responsibility.

We do not ask anything from anyone, except that the interests of the Bulgarian citizens should be put in the foreground and that the laws introduced by us be prioritized", said Petkov.
