On December 14, the Russian occupiers attacked Kyiv and the Kyiv region with Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.

Explosions rang out in the capital on Wednesday morning.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties, several buildings were damaged.

The head of the Kyiv Military City Administration, Serhiy Popko, said that thanks to the effective work of the air defense and electronic warfare units, as of 8:56 a.m., they had destroyed 13 kamikaze drones launched by the occupiers in Kyiv and the region.

According to him, Kyiv suffered two waves of attacks.

As a result of the attack, four residential buildings were damaged in the Shevchenkiv district of Kyiv.

Debris from the downed drone also fell on the administrative building.

Earlier, the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko reported that 10 "martyrs" were shot down by air defense forces in the Kyiv region and over the capital.

In particular, the wreckage of a downed Russian drone

 with the inscription "Za Ryazan!" was found in the capital.

In addition, the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, said that as a result of the Russian attack, a private house was damaged in the village of Vyshneve, in the Kyiv region.

Svitlana Vodolaga, the spokeswoman of the State Emergency Service, reported that

 there were no victims or victims 

of the Iranian drone attack in Kyiv.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi commented on the attack:

"This morning, the terrorists started with 13 "shaheeds". Previously, all 13 were shot down by our Ukrainian air defense systems. Well done, I'm proud! Dear citizens, we thank the air defense systems and don't forget the sirens."
